The Department of Health and the Blood and Tissue Bank celebrate 15 years of hemovigilance in Catalonia
The fourteenth annual conference for patient safety in Catalonia will take place on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. On this occasion, taking advantage of 15 years of hemovigilance in Catalonia, the day will focus on transfusion safety.
The Hemovigilance Advisory Commission of Catalonia has published its Report for 2017. In this edition, 96 centers have transfused blood components, and of these, 56 (58.3%) have made some notification of reactions or transfusion errors.
